System Requirements

The minimum and recommended system specifications to run the INDUCTA software suite are outlined below. This range of hardware and software configurations are the “Supported System” as defined in the INDUCTA Software License and Maintenance Agreement (SLMA).

Minimum System Requirements
Operating System	Microsoft Windows 11: Home or Pro
CPU Type	Multi-Core Intel® Pentium®, Xeon®, or i-Series processor or AMD® equivalent.
Memory	4 GB RAM
Video Graphics & Monitor	Capable of 24-bit colour Direct3D 11 feature level 9_3³ Resolution: 1280 x 720 (SLB¹, RCB¹, PTD¹, FTG and PanelsPlus) 1920 x 1080 (RCC)
Disk Space	5 GB free disk space on the local C: drive
Connectivity	Cloud License: Constant, stable Internet connection for license validation Single Use Dongle: Access to Internet connection at least once every month for license validation

Recommended System Requirements
Operating System	Microsoft Windows 11: Pro
CPU Type	Multi-Core Intel® Pentium®, Xeon®, or i-Series processor or AMD® equivalent. Highest affordable CPU speed rating (GHz) recommended.
Memory	12 GB² RAM
Video Graphics & Monitor	Direct3D 11 feature level 10_1³ Resolution: 1920 x 1080 or higher
Disk Space	5 GB free disk space on the local C: drive Solid State Disk (SSD)
Connectivity	Cloud License: Constant, stable Internet connection for license validation Single Use Dongle: Access to Internet connection at least once every month for license validation

Additional Software⁴
Microsoft® Excel® Required for excel import / export of load cases, load combinations, wind tunnel data and reports.	Minimum: Microsoft Office 2007 (may require additional patch) Recommended: Microsoft Office 2013 or higher
Autodesk® AutoCAD® Required for import / export of CAD files.	All versions are supported up to Autodesk AutoCAD 2021
Autodesk® Revit® Required for import / export of Revit files.	Refer to Revit Link page
Virtualisation Software	(Not supported)

Notes:

1 - Many buttons in the main task ribbon will be collapsed at this resolution.
2 - This will be adequate for most RCB models provided there are not a lot of other background applications running.
3 - Limited support for OpenGL graphics. Some features will not display correctly with Direct3D 11 feature level 9_3.
4 - Additional software is not required to run the INDUCTA Software Suite, but may be needed to transfer information.
