Strength and Serviceability Design of Continuous Beam

The R/C BEAM software can be used for strength and serviceability design of reinforced concrete continuos beam.  The beam can be made of a any number of spans and end cantilevers.  The loading can be UDL and point load at any location.   The software will design positive and negative longitudinal steel and determine the distance between the stirrups for shear resistance.  The deflections are calculated using the effective moment of inertia.

The software will automatically apply the live load in two pattern loads, and determine the maximum positive and negative moments at any point along the beam.

Each span can be subdivided in a number of segments with different section properties.
