Tendon Profile Editor

The tendon profile editor in PT3D 2010 has been improved from previous versions.

Using the tendon profile editor, users can examine or update the profile of the selected tendon. If a tendon is part of a group any changes made to the profile will also be applied to the rest of the group. The initial profile will be generated automatically based on the slab thickness, supports along the tendon and user defined parameters specified for the model.  This automation process covers most real-world scenarios the user can expect.

Detailed information such as drape values to tendon centroids and to the underside of the duct, minimum top and bottom covers, radius for each control point along each tendon are tabulated and displayed. This allows for simple and fast editing of the tendon profile.

The tendon profile editor can also be used to insert flat zones and show radius reports.

PT3D is a programme for the analysis and design of post-tensioned concrete slabs. Slabs of any shape and orientation can be modelled including suspended slabs and slab-on-ground. Tendons are easily defined and edited and can be modelled in any direction. Two-way tendon action is automatically considered. Using advanced finite element analysis PT3D gives extremely accurate results required for efficient design.
