Analysis and design of reinforced concrete columns on biaxial bending and compression.

The R/C Column software can be used for design and analysis of load bearing capacity of rectangular, circular and free-shape, short or slender columns subjected to a combination of compression or tension and bending moments in both orthogonal directions. The increase of the bending moments due to slenderness is automatically included in the analysis.

The R/C Column software calculates the Safety Factor against load bearing capacity failure of a column defined by the user. A column is defined by the geometrical characteristics of the section, effective length, properties of steel and concrete, size and location of reinforcing bars, design axial load on compression, and design bending moments in both directions.
